His two sons ran away from home in San Diego, managed to lie their way onto a Greyhound bus, and after a nationwide search for the boys, they showed up a couple days later in Nebraska where they were trying to find their mother. Their mother, once the boys were declared missing, had flown to San Diego. I don’t know how this all went down, but obviously they went back to their fathers custody.
