A lot of drivers including myself had privacy curtains that covered the windows in the cab from the passenger side, across the front windshield and the driver side windows. I used them mainly as darkening curtains if I had to sleep during the day or if I had a layover and wanted to expand my living space. But the driver next to me had another idea. The curtains were drawn except for the driver side and I could see directly into his truck as he had his interior lights on and the only person that could see him was me. He happened to be looking down when I saw what he was doing and I quickly turned my head into my arms.
